Expanded perlite

     Expanded perlite is a non-toxic, odorless, nonflammable, does not rot, acid, heat, noise insulation materials, internal honeycomb structure. The principle is: perlite ore by crushing the ore to form a certain size, the rapid heating (1000 ℃ above), ore moisture vaporization inside the ore particles soften expansion, form a porous structure, volume expansion to the original 10-30 times . According to its expanded perlite technical conditions and usage divided into three forms, open pores, closed cell, hollow hole.

     Expanded perlite is a volcanic eruption acidic lava, the rapid cooling from the glassy rock, because of its structure and named pearl fracture. Perlite ore including perlite, obsidian and pitchstone. That the difference between the three perlite has rounded crack due to the formation of condensation, called perlite structure, the water content of 2 to 6%; pitchstone rosin has a unique luster, moisture content of 6 to 10%; obsidian has a glass luster and conchoidal fracture, moisture content is typically less than 2%.
