Note and maintenance of trolley resistance furnace
Trolley resistance furnace is the main furnace type in the heat treatment industry. It is responsible for the heat treatment production process of large castings and forgings. Standard trolley resistance furnace operation and daily maintenance work can ensure the normal operation and production of equipment.
Operation items of trolley resistance furnace
1. Workpieces with corrosive, volatile and explosive gases are strictly forbidden to be processed in the furnace body, so as not to affect the service life of heating elements and refractory materials and cause explosions and other accidents.
2. The trolley resistance furnace shall not be operated at over temperature, otherwise the service life of the equipment will be shortened.
3. Workpieces with too much scale need to be removed before entering the furnace.
4. The workpiece must not touch the heating element, and the distance from the heating element should be kept at least about 100-150mm.
5. Brutal operation is strictly prohibited, and the work piece should be handled gently to avoid impact.
6. When the trolley resistance furnace is used, the operator shall not leave the post without permission, and must pay attention to whether the working condition is normal at any time.
7. When loading and unloading workpieces, the trolley resistance furnace must first cut off the power of the heating element to ensure the safety of the operator.
8. Oxides in the furnace (including resistance wire or resistance band) should be cleaned frequently, at least once a week. Compressed air can be blown under the furnace floor.
Daily inspection and maintenance of trolley resistance furnace
1. Check whether the power supply of the trolley resistance furnace is normal, whether there is a phase failure, short circuit or bare wire.
2. Check whether the contact of the grounding device wiring is good.
3. Check whether the heating element is damaged, whether the connection is in good contact, and whether there is any contact with the furnace body.
4. Check whether the temperature control system is operating normally.
5. Check whether the furnace door is lifted and the trolley enters and exits normally.
6. The motor of the resistance furnace of the trolley and the reducer need to be regularly inspected, and lubricating oil should be added. Pay attention to the safety of use.
7. The lubricating oil must be regularly checked at the transmission bushing to prevent damage to the bushing due to lack of oil.
8. Regularly check the use of heating elements.
9. Regularly verify the use of the meter and thermocouple to prevent incorrect temperature measurement due to the error of the meter and thermocouple.
